The Digibox QSD offers a low-cost, compact solution to monitoring multiple serial digital video signals. The unit accepts four independent serial digital video signals and combines them into a quad display, thus reducing the number of monitors required from four to one. Each input can also be viewed in full screen mode.
The Digibox QSD accepts both synchronous and asynchronous inputs with Outputs synchronized to either a genlock input or SDI input 1, depending on the preference of the user.
The unit provides both serial digital video outputs and analogue component outputs.
To aid channel identification, simple channel idents are provided, which can be enabled/disabled by the user. There is also an on-air indicator which is controlled via GPI (quad display only).
The unit is housed in a robust steel case, and may be rackmounted using the optional RK4 adapter. Up to four units, including others in the Digibox SDI range such as the V2D analogue to SDI convertor, can be combined into this 1U tray.
